This is us. On a cycling adventure in January. Cute right?
Currently studying for a pretentiously-titled Masters Degree in “Leadership for Sustainable Development” with Forum for the Future. I’m trying to do my bit; inspire others and question the norm… whilst simultaneously not become a martyr for the cause, nor cause arguments at dinner parties – it’s a fine balance.
Whilst not WordPressing, reading the Guardian at my desk, or pretending that I know what I’m talking about… you’ll probably find me either on my bike, in the pub, or whipping up a vegetarian feast in the kitchen.
If you want to know what I’m like on social media, you can follow all of my ‘adventures’ on instagram or all of my ranting on twitter. But if you want to know what I’m like in real life, feel free to come round for a cup of tea… I’ll probably be in my pyjamas watching Grey’s Anatomy.
I currently work as a sustainability consultant after completing a masters in Geoscience and turning my back on Oil & Gas. The things I care about most fall in the topics of food wate, education, and equality. Although I don’t get to directly work in the sphere of influence on these issues yet, I feel like i’m on one of the lower rungs of the ladder to having a bigger impact and I’m on my way up.
This blog was started mostly as a platform for all the opinions and, ideas and, crazy thoughts you get when you’re meant to be focusing on something else. Being sustainable is as dynamic as the definition itself, which makes it so much harder to achieve! But, we keep trying don’t we. I just wanted to document what we do know, what we don’t know and, what we think.
